The SeaPerch program is funded by the Office of Naval Research (ONR) as part of the National Naval Responsibility for naval engineers in an effort to find the next generation of naval architects, marine engineers, naval engineers and ocean engineers. The SeaPerch program provides students with the opportunity to learn about robotics, engineering, science and mathematics (STEM) while building an underwater remotely operated vehicle as part of a science and engineering technology curriculum.


 How can you help?

There will be numerous needs for volunteers for the Hawaii SeaPerch Competition. The Coast Guard is working with the Shipyard to generate a list of specific positions that require volunteer support. Information regarding specific positions will be posted shortly. If you are interested in volunteering for any position, please contact Hiilei Nicolas at (808) 368-0465
